Christmas in Branson...

Barb and I went to Kimberling City to visit my sister Susan. She only lives 10 miles to Branson were her husband works. Were she lives is a great location. Close to the lake, which you can see from her house. Roger took us into Branson to see the light show. It was real nice. We had such a good time.

Lights on everything. It is so pretty when it gets dark.

This tree is in the center and that is were the light show is and the light parade. The tree does a light show to music. I didn't get that on a picture. So before the show the tree turns different colors.

It's begining to look...

a lot like Christmas. The last few day's I went threw my Christmas boxes and gave some away to a Thrift store. I know I didn't give enough away. Maybe my Grandson's will want some of it some day. Was that a funny?

Barb made this basket sled one year.

Posted by PicasaThis is my Christmas tree's. I haven't had a tree for several years. I thought I wanted a tree this year but this will do. So I put a few things out to make the season bright. Barb and Caleb helped me put lights out front on Thanksgiving Day. They are pretty.

Birthday and Fair...

These flowers are from my Birthday. Barb got them for me and Chris carried them in to me. They were so nice I enjoyed them very much. Everyone came down on Sat. the 10th and we grilled, had good food and a great time. Plus Tina and Rich came down too.

Then on Wed. the showing of the cattle started at the Fair. The boys are showing there heifer calves. It was a good week. They did great.

PICNIC APRON CHALLENGE...

Memory Makers Quilt Guild of Perryville Mo. has a picnic meeting in August. This year we met at the Barrrens Winery and had a lovely supper out on the porch with a nice breeze.

At our picnic we have a challenge and this year we were given an apron to finish off in a picnic theme with using some strips and dots. These are pictures of the aprons.

The skinny Dick's apron was brought by a member as a joke. It is X rated. You may be able to see what is under the towel!

I don't remember for sure which member made which one so I better not say. The one in this picture with the cupcakes is mine.
