Show and Tell @ Guild

One of the girls made her witch shoe into a pillow. Isn't it nice?
This one is from the Dazzling Diamonds class. Nice fall quilt.

Doesn't he look like a College man!!!

Brandon is off to Mizzou. I see him every day in his jeans (farm clothes). He looks good. I think he is ready for college. He told me he was going to come home after college and buy the Ranch. Fine with me. It was just yesterday I was taking him to pre school.

I'm still learning....

I'm not doing too good at posting pictures on my blog. I hope to get better. This is a close up of Barb's quilt.
This is a quilt I made for Brandon. I have the binding to do yet. He is off to college but he will have a new bed room soon at his new house so the quilt is for that bed.
Close up picture of the quilting. There were 5 of us quilters who made 5 same blocks, two different sets, and exchanged blocks each month. I love the way it turned out.

This was a class last Monday with Lynn Schmitt Cibulka from Il. She did a morning and afternoon class at the Cape Library and then a lecture for that Quilt Guild that evening. Her web site is - adifferentboxofcrayons.com Had a great time and the next day I finished the witch shoe block and I need to add the border to the broom. I'm not making the whole quilt. The broom is a table runner and the shoe is a wallhanging.

The shoe gets buttons on the flap when it is done.

This is Barb's quilt. All done except for the sleeve on the back so it can go in the RHQG show the end of Sept.

The Perryville Quilt Guild that I belong to had a class a couple week ago. This is the finish top, now to quilt it. The teacher was Lisa Grossenheider from St. Louis. The name of the quilt is Dazzling Diamonds. Fun class but I don't think I will make another Diamond quilt. Never say never. Posted by Picasa

Lots to show you.....

We have a new tractor on the Farm. This is a 50 year old John Deere that 4 of us went in on to use a little and for an investment. It is in great condition. That is Adam at the wheel.
